Multiplayer connection issues
Okay, I am absolutely livid about this. I've been trying to get my partner to connect remotely to a newly generated world so we can play together. All I see is constant connection/disconnection issues.

She can't ever join in the menus, the only way she can join is by right clicking my name in her steam friends and going to join.

The ports are open, the configs are correct. This is absolutely ridiculous, I expect this from an early access game. I haven't played this in awhile but generally I make dedicated servers to prevent nonsense but I wanted to give her a quick learning guide in how to play before doing a dedicated server.

Anyway, I'm venting my frustration because it shouldn't be this ridiculous

Hi, some players reported having to change the Steam Download Region, it's a new thing going on and players had to select the same region to be able to play in Local save set on friends mode.

The how to change region is post #12 titled :
NEW
MP CONNECTION PROBLEM

I also recommend this test to see if she can connect when you host without planets :

Use a brand new created Sandbox named "Red ship V2" for a quick test.

Oh! I recommend to create that new testing world in the default mode so disable Experimental Before creating the world.

The Default game mode is made to have better MP Perfo by default.
