Space engineers still puts my computer to sleep.
Anytime I leave the game paused or idle while in a cryopod space engineers puts my computer into sleep mode. My computer is not overheating my windows settings are set to never allow windows to go into sleep mode. The game is overriding my windows settings and putting my computer to sleep without my permission and at this point it's making me angry. This game has no business interacting with my PC in this way. This bug has been persistent for more than a year and has happened on two separate laptops. Devs please fix it. I have reported this here because Valve and the community need to know about this bug and the fact that the devs refuse to fix it.

Hi, I don't have this problem in my PC but a thing I know is Laptops have power saving options that you may have to completely disable to be sure.

I posted a response on the bug report at Keen before reading this.

How long is it between game cryopod entry and computer sleep mode? (5 mins from older bug report) I'm testing that now and pretty sure the game isn't going to put my PC into sleep mode. I know you are on a laptop, and you likely don't have the correct sleep settings.

Microsoft Windows has the Event Viewer where the system should log an event for sleep mode and probably the cause.

Edit: Well that's been an hour with cryopod while I took a real-life nap. Computer monitors went to expected sleep mode. PC still going. Your 10 month old bug report is listed as "Need More Information", and they asked a series of questions and log requests. I can't duplicate issue, Keen will need to duplicate issue to come up with a solution.

I remember having the Windows10 Screensaver Bug in their other game Medieval Engineers but all good after I have reported on their Support Portal.

Very old Bug that was fixed and the only similar problem I got years ago :
