It's definitely possible! For most of development I stayed on keyboard/mouse controls to make sure they were at least feasible.

I got this for free on Epic a while ago and just tried it. It's definitely not playable with KB/M without severe aggravation that nobody should subject themselves to. The keybinds are insane, and mouse isn't used at all except in the menus for no apparent reason.
