Report a translation problem
Most moves can be canceled at any time by pressing block. You might want to do this to actually block an incoming attack, but you can also just tap it to stop a move to start up another one early.
So on spear, try tapping block the instant the slide connects. It'll pop you back to your feet, and should allow you to keep a combo going against the enemy before they recover...
(Spear is actually kind of tricky because you're moving so fast--timing is more strict, and you might end up one side or the other, depending)
That's what I thought, I've been working on it. Looks like I've got work to do!
