Shelter 1

Did this give anyone else a headache?
The gameplay and everything was alright, but the gamma on this game is ridiculous and there is no way to change it. There's no contrast, and looking at it gave me a huge headache. Anyone else have this problem or suggestions on how to fix it?

I use SweetFX to increase contrast and saturation.

There's also another shader replacer for Shelter which I haven't checked, there: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/632785/shelter/

If you have a NVIDIA card you could use the software to change the contrast and saturation. AMD probably has something similar.

I had the same trouble, I could only play it for about 15 minutes before feeling queezy

Not a headache, but my eyes started to hurt 30 min into the game. Still finished in one sitting though.

I managed to play through to the end, however I lost two of my pups because I couldn't tell the difference in shades between a "healthy" pup and a "hungry" pup until it was too late. :I

I had no idea there WAS a difference until you said that...

Yeah, I REALLY wanted to like this game and support an indy company. I respect the attempt to make graphics that look different, but everything looks washed out and hard to see and I got a headache in about ten minutes. The last time I played I tried to bull through the headache and keep going. Until I got to the fox scene and all of a sudden was massively motion sick.
