How do you access the inventory? The Anti-scratch Glove shows to be in it when I pause the game, but I don't see how to access it in order to give it to the cat.

I keep getting the achievements as I play, but they pop up late like a lot of others i saw in the discussions. But does this game count toward Steam achievements? My number of total achievements earned doesn't change when I get them in this game. I'm still playing and enjoying the game no matter what! This is just the first game that's ever done that to me and I was wondering if it's a glitch or if there is a reason or something....

I've found everything else and have rescued all the cats except the kitty on the___ (no spoiler but I know where it is). Please can I have a hint or a tip? Thank you!
