Cool concepts, awkward execution. The RTS mechanics were technically alright but engagements felt repetitive and the AI was easily overcome. The dragon, while effective, did not feel very satisfying and its progression was underwhelming. The story could have been cool but its antagonists were horribly underdeveloped, allies were goofy caricatures, the writing gave a generally un-serious impression, and decisions dwelling on identity politics were the most ridiculously overt, cringe-worthy, and out of place I've ever seen in a game. Not devoid of fun but an undercooked and forgettable mess.
