Controller Support is still broken
Completed this game on PS4 and wanted to replay on PC ahead of Greedfall. Shame to say that the game pad support in this is still broken, please fix this if you are still selling the game.

Tried the compatibility modes (win 7, 8) and no joy.

Has anyone had any success?

yes, i had luck, although your post is pretty old by now

go to big picture mode, bound by flame, manage game, controller options, set steam input to forced off.

steam somehow messes around with games ability to handle gamepads. once you set it to forced off, you won't be able to map it but the gamepad will work ingame.
