Crash When entering Vwhatever Village
Game crashes to desktop upon opening the 2nd door when entering the village. Anyone else have this issue?

Already had to re-install this buggy game to my C drive because it wouldn't even start otherwise. Looks like the devs have a ton of hard coded path names within their code.

Anyone know what the most default install path would be? I'm going to assume something off Program Files\Steam\common\steamapps\gamedir....

Sure it's not you? I have mine on my E drive, and it works perfectly..

It must not like RAID arrays or storage pools. Works fine on C drive except for this crash @ entering the village.

Please post your configuration:

1. Press the keys WINDOWS (bottom left) and R.
2. Type DXDIAG and click the button OK from the Run window.

System tab: Windows version, processor model (Processor) and the amount of RAM memory (Memory).
Display tab: name of the graphics controller (Name) and the driver date (Date).
Audio tab: name of the audio controller (Name) and the driver date (Date).

Looks like the game doesn't like Crossfire either :/ . Problem went away when I disabled Crossfire for the game.

This is more than a decade ago lol. Crossfire was/is a dual GPU thing. It's not really used these days.
