FULL METAL FRENZY DLC

Haarlem, the Netherlands – May 6, 2014 – Publisher Iceberg Interactive announced today that Gas Guzzlers Extreme, the fast, furious and engrossing multiplayer combat racing game for PC that shipped last summer, has two new DLC packs coming soon to Steam – Full Metal Frenzy and Full Metal Zombie. Gas Guzzlers Extreme is available for PC on Steam with a Linux version currently in development.

The first Gas Guzzlers Extreme DLC pack, Full Metal Frenzy, will debut on Steam next week and features two new race arenas, three new game modes, a female announcer, and many more new additions.

Full Metal Frenzy DLC Includes:
• Two levels (arenas)
• Two new cars
• One new team skin for all 20 cars, including police skin with siren and lights
• Female announcer voice-over
• Two new power-ups
• Three new game modes

The second DLC, Full Metal Zombie, will launch summer 2014, complete with nine different types of zombies and a thrilling new game mode Defend the Base.

Full Metal Zombie DLC Includes:
• One new level (arena)
• One New car
• One new team skin, for all 21 cars
• Nine zombie types
• One new game mode ‘Defend the Base’

Furthermore, starting today leading up to the release, Iceberg Interactive and Gas Guzzlers Extreme celebrate the upcoming DLC’s with a special contest. During this competition players will have to submit a creative AI name that contains a word play like the already implemented names: Bjorn Toulouse, Lee Mealone and Kent Cook. Next to having their AI name permanently included in Gas Guzzlers Extreme, gamers can also win free Steam copies, t-shirts and even a remote controlled Gas Guzzler! Submission is done via Facebook or Twitter via #GGENAMEIT

Looks groovy. Does anything need to be unlocked or is everything listed under "Key features" immediately available after downloading?

for MP everything is available, but for SP cars have to be unlocked. it depends how far did you get in campaign . if you have already finished the campaign then the new cars will be unlocked. new events are available as sponsor events in SP

Well you have convinced me,
To be honest i was hoping that steam would do a sale with the dev's and but something decent up,
Been looking at getting this for a bit, but not had much cash,
i was thinking of getting it from game as i saw it in there for about a tenner i think it was,
Nice one guys just saved me a journey,
Plus it is a game i have been looking at getting for a bit,
as well as the dlc too
cant wait to get blasting about on it

not worth it. you will be disappointed if you spend what little money you have on this game.

You keep complain but you don't give ANY details on WHY.

The game isn't your taste simple as that, you're not a fan of Twisted Metal or Interstate 76.

I have no problem with you not liking the game, but you give no details at all, the devs are open to any suggestions.


Complaining on a game is one thing, giving explanation on why you don't like the game leave room for amelioration for the devs to ensure the game fits the needs of their players.

Buying Gas Guzzlers Extreme back in Oct been plenty worth it to me. I have had many fun deathmatches and Capture the Flag online, with my friends.

It a shame this fun game has not taken off, it is tough getting a full house on a Saturday night here in the US. :( But I did do it a few Saturdays ago. :)

Before I buy DLC, I need to know if I install DLC, can I still join a stock host that does not have the DLC(s)?

If I host with DLC(s), I take it only players with DLC can join my host? I found the answer to this question today:

The Gamepires Devs have handle this part of doing DLCs correctly. Error message tell player the name of the missing DLC, so player has an idea what he will need to join host. To bad Codemasters did not do this with GRID 2!!

With the low numbers of online players, I do worry if I host with DLC, will I have an even tougher time getting a full lobby than I do now on Saturday nights in the US. I also see there a second DLC on the way this summer. Will this divide the online community more? Could end up with a host with just 1 or the other DLC, so if player don't have the right DLC, player can't join. And If I have both DLCs, can I join a host with just 1 dlc?

Also those that buy new DLC today, will they get a break in price on the second dlc when it get release later this summer? Send players that buy Full Metal Frenzy now, a discount Steam code for Full Metal Zombie. I assume when Full Metal Zombie DLC get release there will be a deal to buy both DLCs?

The more players that have both DLCs, the better for GGE online.

If you have DLC you can join server without DLC and all other players will see your new car.

The only problema with this game is don't have splitscreen, like Mariokart or Crashrace.

Yes AI will use new cars and new game mods, power ups and tracks will be used when you play single player career. And if you are starting campaign from start, don't forget to try out female announcer voice over :) Announcer can be changed now from the profile editor scene.
