Small hotfix while a larger patch is in testing.

This fix addresses an issue introduced by the last update: the game no longer fails to automatically reload a scene if dialogue is triggered while a scene reload is in progress (e.g. after the player has died).

That Which Gave Chase is one year old. Time flies? Or slithers along at a glacial pace? Somehow both at once. Regardless, I'm glad to be able to celebrate the 1-year anniversary by rolling out localization support, starting with a wonderful Japanese translation courtesy of translator Youge.

When starting the game for the first time after applying this update, it should default to Japanese if Steam is set to run in Japanese. You can also set the language under properties in Steam, or change language in-game from the main menu settings view.

This update also introduces some improvements and accessibility features, including:
- option to increase dialogue text duration
- text color and background options
- option to enable sound feedback when new dialogue plays
- minor UI bugfixes

- Adds a scene selection feature, which can be accessed from the main menu. Scenes will unlock as you play through the game, allowing you to go back and replay parts as you please.
If you have any existing checkpoint data upon launching the game after this update, the game will use this to unlock relevant scenes.
