"Restart Level" Crashes to desktop

Game works for most part but after dying or failing a mission, choosing restart level option quits the game to desktop.

No error message or anyhing ike that.

Any Ideas?

It's sad to start the game complete new every time after a restart because of the desktop-crashes bug.

I found a solution of sorts. you can play the game in vmwork station in windows xp or windows 7. it works much faster in windows 7 but when you boot up the game you have to alt tap than return to the game other wise you will crash to desktop. on windows xp it has no problems other that the low fps.

If you want to restart the mission just press Alt F4 and it will drop you to main menu.

I installed windows 7 in my ssd hard drive and the game works great no slow downs or crash restart.

Found a way to make it work for windows 10. right click on fallen.exe and set it to run on windows xp sp2 than install dgVoodoo2_71_3. You can now restart the game without it crashing.

having the same issue but now i even have the problem that the games sometimes freezes which makes me very irritaded , sad .

you mean fps drops like twice over the time? try out running exe as admin

Did you do anything with dgVoodoo's settings?....also i changed it to windows xp sp2 when right clicking. Game starts up and i get a black screen and the only way out of it is restarting the PC.
