Aside from nostalgia, Startopia provides laughs and inside jokes for the Star Trek or Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fan. I find myself coming back to play through the campaign every few years. This game gets things right for an enjoyable space-based society, where the new game under this brand feels too simplified for the modern time.

One of my top 10 favourite games, like, ever. I remember seeing my late mother playing this back when I was younger, and thinking it was cool as hell. I also remember seeing a Grey named Ayy Lmao which was really funny, and I'm pretty sure there's a Zedem Monk on one of my save files named Metal Dog.

It's a huge shame that this game doesn't have much - if any - fans at all. This game is honestly super underrated, and it has a great soundtrack. I recommend playing on Sandbox mode first to properly get the hang of things before trying out the missions.

Oh, yeah. If you liked this game, then you might like the Half-Life series, and maybe Spore, too. ^-^
