You just know that this game was under his complete control. It was his company. So what did he envision? The first few levels of this game. I played probably 99% of old fps games. And you can force through most of them, if you're skilled. Speedrun through them, and it's kind of enjoyable. But this is impossible....

I avoided this game for 20 + years, it was maybe one of the very few 90s shooters I didnt play. Finishing SIGIL this year for the second time on ultra violence made me remember how good level designer Romero was and still is, and so I decided to try Daikatana, It couldnt be THAT bad, right? Anybody got it working on steam deck? Do I need different proton? GE Proton latest (9/2/2022) just boots back to steam after loading initial.
