Disappointing. Was super excited thinking I would finally get to pay the game I purchased..... :(
To be fair if you run BO2 on CD-DVD it has the same issues. Its just super old and no one ever worked on it again. Soul Reaver 1 was taken down from Steam years ago to actually remaster it, to make it run on modern systems but some sort of issue occurred, i dont really remember what, and its still unlisted and nothing is happening. Its a shame.

It is the Proton Layer what just translate DX to Vulkan on Linux systems.
It is so good that Windows users try to use same method on their Windows, even DXVK is made for Linux.
Most often NEW SYSTEMS, Win OS, drivers etc breaks compatibility. Not game.
Game starting and running out of the box with DXVK is straight proof that game is playable.
Old games has totally right to be sold on Steam.
