Loud sound during cutscenes

Hi
I wanted to try the game on a whim as I''ve not played it for a long time
I was straeming this in discord and uhhh
I think I nearly deafened like 4 people and myself
The cutscene made an earpiercingly loud sound, like a feedback sound
The game seems to run like normal but the cutscene was really really loud and clearly broken, making a droning sound
Is this known? Is there a fix?

I also have this issue, my wild guess is it might be a issue of hardware? since no one in the past when it came out has the same issue. it seems to just be the opening cutscene thought at least.

i got the game recently, after seeing someone else play it, reminded me it existed, decided to buy it on sale. but they didnt have the cutscene issue. so the fix eludes me as well.
