NetherRealm and Warner Bros. are releasing a patch today for Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition to fix a bug that locked the framerate to 30 FPS after pausing and unpausing the game.

NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have released a patch today for Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition to fix some issues related to Online and Framerate – details below:

• Fixed issue related to players not being visible in rooms
  
• Fixed the invite system to address simultaneous invites and invites that arrive after the player has started entering a match
  o Note: This fix changes the system so that invites arriving after entering a match or actively matchmaking are ignored
  
• Fixed a desync when using chat in Big Picture mode
  
• Fixed framerate issue related to cutscenes

We would like to clarify that a good network connection and a system capable of maintaining 60 fps are required in order to receive the best possible online experience:

1. Start with a machine that meets or exceeds the Recommended System Requirements
   
2. Run AutoConfigure from the Video Settings Option menu
   
3. If you experience any further performance problems, disable the most costly effects such as Anti-Aliasing
   
4. Make sure to watch the Ping display for opponents that have a rating of (4 = Good). Connections to a lower Ping value may slow down online play

A game update was released today for Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition that extends online multiplayer matchmaking across all regions.

The original game was set to limit matches to players within the closest geographical region to improve the chances of quality online play (better ping times). However, this had the inadvertent effect of limiting some regions, such as Australia and New Zealand as well as Ireland and other European countries from matchmaking with the bulk of the Injustice community.

This update changes Steam matchmaking to cover the full worldwide region. Players should no longer need to adjust their Steam download region to find opponents.

A patch was released today for Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition to fix several issues related to online multiplayer matchmaking and graphics card compatibility.

The Injustice development team has been working to fix a number of bugs that have been reported by the Steam community. Based on the progress made on these bugs, Warner Bros. is planning to release a patch to Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition early next week (week of Nov 25).

We have made some adjustments to the online multiplayer server configuration for Steam. Our initial tests show that the matchmaking service is now working for Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition.

Warner Bros. and the Injustice development team have identified the cause of a matchmaking problem in Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition. Reports from the Steam community have been very helpful in pinpointing the problem.

A server configuration error was introduced when the game was made live to the public on Nov-12. We have been in contact with Valve, and Steam engineers are working hard to fix this issue. We will update this community as soon as new information is available.

Warner Bros. is working together with the development team to investigate reports of online connection issues. We will update the community with our findings within the next 24 hours.

Injustice, like most fighting games at the competitive level, has online play that allows for frame-accurate inputs, all of which are meticulously tuned against 60 FPS gameplay. As such, while the game does still attempt to match players across all FPS, the vast majority of Injustice players connecting online will be playing the game with graphical settings for their computer that ensures a constant 60 FPS playback.

If you are having difficulty finding other players online or your ping meter shows red occasionally, it is possible that the framerate of the game is dropping below 60 FPS due to your computer's settings. A low framerate will limit the ability for you to connect to players with high framerates. Try adjusting your graphical settings to the lowest possible in order to maintain at least 60 FPS before attempting to connect online
