Just to let you know, I did some balance change in the last update to make it a tiny bit easier:
- You'll have more chance to get rare upgrades in hard mode now
- Wave 14 was crazy hard, I went berserk when designing this. Now it's still mad but a bit more doable.
There are also a few QoL updates that might help you a little (better readability)
Anyway, hard mod is still super hard haha. Here are some tips:
- Getting luck early can cascade into a lot of bonus stats later in the run.
- Try to prioritize some enemies to clear some space. Take them one by one.
- Don't jump too much if there is a lot of enemies around. Time your dashes well.
I hope that helps!
Thanks, the changes look great! I think my problem was that I was just trying to rush for the speedrun achievement, but I really should just focus on actually trying to beat hard mode normally first lol. The controller looks a lot more appealing now that you can use the control stick, so I might try that out and see if it helps!
14 is borderline impossible imo. Magic, skate, physical, projectile or any combination of it.
