I don't even watch VTubers. This game is an amazing roguelite that successfully builds upon what Vampire Survivors started. Everything in the game was clearly made with love, and it shines through every aspect. Soundtracks are constantly a banger (impressive for one-track, 20-minute levels), and the gameplay consistently hits that roguelite high that every player chases.

Do you like Vampire Survivor-like games? Then you'll like this one, even if you have no idea what Hololive is or any of the characters. It's the same idea; collect exp to level up and grab an item/weapon from the RNG-given list, then those weapons/items automatically activate to help you KO more fans and get more exp and money. If you think you're interested, you might as well try it since it's totally free. The game supports both keyboard/mouse and controllers, so you can use which you like the best.

HoloCure has more involvement with the ability to aim weapons (if they can be aimed) and a special ability that you can use for each character, as well as enemies that can fire projectiles or use telegraphed attacks that you need to avoid.

The variety of characters makes this game interesting as each character comes with their own unique weapon, a set of 3 skills, and a special ability that makes them play differently than the other characters. And of course, if you do know anything about Hololive you'll be able to catch the inside jokes or references.

HoloCure also has a bunch of additional minigames/systems you can play with between runs. If you like grinding for bragging rights rewards or achievements then these will be right up your alley. There's a decent variety now with the latest update with set and forget activities like farming or minion management, and more active things like fishing/mining/woodcutting for materials or going to the casino if you like gambling with your money. There's even a Jump King tower if you want to play that game inside this game.

Overall, this game is very worth checking out even if you don't know anything or don't care about Hololive; it's a very well made Vampire Survivors-like with plenty of content to keep you busy.
