Steam Deck Gamers, how does Black Flag play on it?

I have an SD OLED and I'm curious as to how the game plays on it. Best I could find is that it's hit or miss with some players. Some had to fiddle with Protontricks while one guy even said it worked for him right off the bat.

Black Flag is on sale at the moment, so a purchase is very tempting.

Same boat (no pun). Seeing all the issue people are having just getting it to run on thier computer makes me really hesitate to get it.

Yep, I think that was the one I came across. As we can see, some had issues while a couple claimed it worked right out the gate for them.

So, it might be a case of take the risk ourselves and worse case scenario, ask for a refund before 2 hours.

Does it work right out of the box? I am considering giving it a try once I get home and have stable internet. At least, I can request a refund if it just doesn't work.
