Fullscreen & Windowed Mode Linux Ubuntu 14.04
Hi, when I start the game, then it is automatically set to full screen.
Now, when I'm change the settings to windowed mode and close the game, the settings are saved.

When I'm start the game again, it will appear in the window mode.
But the settings are reset to full screen.
If I close the game now, it has the defaults setting again.
Which means after I quit the game will set to full screen. (if you not change it)

Can anyone help you here?
Should I go there rather report directly to developers or am I right?

Go to the VisionaireConfigurationTool and uncheck full screen? Not too sure about Linux, but this problem shouldn't have anything to do with the type of computer. It doesn't change back for me.

Should not it really...
But since Linux users edit only on console anyway, it takes less gui.
Or the file is located somewhere else.

Unfortunately, to edit the file "Linux Steam" does not help
And the other file "Linux User" sets after each finish back.
I sent Daedalic message too.

Windows User:
%USERPROFILE%\Local\Daedalic Entertainment\Deponia\config.ini

Windows Steam:
X:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Goodbye Deponia\config.ini

Windows VisionaireConfigurationTool:
X:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Goodbye Deponia\VisionaireConfigurationTool.exe

Linux User:
~/.local/share/Daedalic Entertainment/Deponia 3/config.ini

Linux Steam:
./Steam/SteamApps/common/Goodbye Deponia/config.ini

Linux VisionaireConfigurationTool:
./Steam/SteamApps/common/Goodbye Deponia/ (File not exist)

It looks like the config menu is broken:

Making settings once is fine and gets written to config.ini.
when you load the game (even multiple times) without going to the configuration/settings menu everything is fine.

However when you go to the settings menu it seems to fail reading the config.ini and shows the default settings. When you exit the menu the config.ini is overwritten with the settings made in the settings menu.

short:
make your settings once and never enter the settings/config menu again.
Every time you go to the settings menu you do have to make all settings again.

Daedalic wrote that many Linux users have the same Problem. It is an problem with the Engine and they don't know when the Engine Developer fix this.
