Combat Mission: Red Thunder

Combat Mission: Red Thunder

WTF Is this price?!
Nearly 5000 rubles for this and the other games in the series?! Are you out of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minds?!

UPDATE: I am quite late with this, but it seems like it's Slitherine who raised the prices in some regions on most products to absurd, not Battlefront themselves. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, even classic Strategic Command games are absurdly expensive in Russia now.

They are, yes, but there isn't another option unless you are going to buy one of the Graviteam games, but they are quite a different style of play, and the developer is a raving douche.

I would argue that Graviteam games are different from Combat Mission games, especially since Combat Mission offers more unique stuff now and then, like one expansion for Fortress Italy, which includes Brazilian Expeditionary Force and Moroccan Goumiers, among some others who are an extremely rare sight in WW2 video games.
I don't hang around Graviteam's forums, but why is the Graviteam dev a raving douche exactly? Also, I think there is more than one dev on the team.
i just got it for £15
скильки, да вы що ♥♥♥♥♥♥?

I very clearly said in my post that they are different games. Graviteam is only one guy...Andre. Go over there and criticize ANY aspect of his game and see what kind of response you get 🤔. Like a lot of those eastern European developers, especially Russian and Ukrainian...very quick tempered and thin-skinned. It's a wonder why they're always at war 😉
Gamersgate has all of the CM games right now for around 46% off if anyone wants to buy from legitimate, 'retail' sites.
Good hint, Thanks Randy!
I picked up the base game and then noticed they gave me a further coupon for 10% off. So I got both DLC with even more taken off the price. The entire package was approx 50% off. Having a great time with it so far.

Yes, he's a complete a-hole, rude to his paying customers and arrogant on top of it.
"very quick tempered and thin-skinned"

You just described Steve Grammont, or pretty close.

Increase the price of the game further. It's very cheap. I hope they raise the price more, feel free, don't be shy...

I like the development team. They're complete lunatics...that one of them for 100%.
Other than that, I love them for the work they do.
We hear they've been preparing Japan for 10 years. So I hope they release it soon.

Yep. Same deal over there. Milking the Steam community now for every penny he can. I play other games now, or just get these for what they should be priced at from key shops.
I bet you support dies down in the next few years too. There is no way in hell he is going to optimize or modernize these games in any way. Sure looks like he's trying to hand off as much as the business as possible while also trying to sell as many copies as he can before sailing away on a medium size yacht.
Price policy is out of rational mind. Compare Graviteam tactics.
