And Designer take long loooooooooooooooong years to do nothing with game...
You’re a little misguided though as Jon supports the game just really slowly.
All this game needed to be truly great was more people working on it, really. There is no game quite like this one on the strategy market. And just for this simple fact, I would recommend trying it.
Let's hope there will be future updates. And maybe, some day, there will be a bigger team working on a similar title.

I wouldnt recommend buying except if on sale. Hopefully as the game gets additional patches it will become better, but at the moment it is the all too familiar tale of a game being released without being a completed product
