I ran into this game off random happenstance. The trailer had me believing this was some little zelda type adventure. When I got to the first real boss fight it shattered my expectations for this game. The boss strut with his expressions sent me. It's a wild mix of Jojo, a lot of cutscenes between small fighting sections, and fantastic writing. 10/10 new favorite cutscene in gaming.

heavy. HEAVY recommend this game if you like weird experimental indie stuff. While rough around the edges the world and vibes of this game are really good and kinda weird and sometimes offputting. It feels alive which is pretty cool for a solo (I assume) project. Combat is simple and floaty with the ability to do some fun combos. Its fun overall I really recommend it. It has men in outfits that show their chests too very hot

With what is out right now the game is definitely worth the price tag, an enjoyable game reminiscent of Ocarina of Time, if it was a Hack N Slash, note that while the combat feels nice, every fight so far is extremely easy with every boss either having an easy stunlock (especially with the brush weapon) or just being simple to spam with the book. The books back air attack is very spammable with its high damage, letting you spam it without being able to be hit. It is also very easy to get out of bounds however this is not something I would put against it as each instance of me doing this was fully intentional, there was never any unintentional game breaking bugs. The outfits are nice, the weapon upgrades feel good. Healing items arent all too needed due to the low difficulty (I played on normal). Overall a game worth following the development of.
