This has been mentioned many times before and afraid it can't be done, it's far too complicated apparently.

Hope this helps.
Not.
Gonna.
Happen.

Deal with it.
From technical standpoint, it is a pure fantasy.
Also why would DTG want to develop another product that competes more directly with TSW. With no information about any improvements at all in the last 6 months, will there be any improvements at all is the real question.

I dont think so.

I have been conditioned to wait for sales now and thats about what the add ons would be worth to me now. Which means the retail asking for 40 dollars or whatever is a reasoned failure in today's market. There will be about a easter sale and I hope to be in a position to buy some of the product then.

Its a ludicruis statement to me making when theres a stack of 20 dollar bills in a vault and on paper I could buy the damn thing and not even feel the loss of 40 dollars. However they kept doing the sales and here we are. The breaking of the retail market side. Which requires more and bigger sales to keep cash flowing.

I think the original founders and makers made a good money when they did finally sell. No one else is going to put in too much of anything right now. I have been playing on several other train games lately and its alot of fun. What DTG could become if they were to care enough to evolve.
I actually bought TSW2 and they had physics problems with it also, some were fixed, some still there. It was face plant bad when it came out. Cursed them out badly at first, which is why I the Customer Complaining, got perma-banned in that group. Took them about 2 years to remedy some problems, but not all.
Multi Core were the best way for the best Train Sim

Well they said they'd never land on the moon....
true but businesses run on revenue not dreams, so we can can be quite confident on this

I'm not fussed which engine gets used, being optimised for modern hardware would be awesome. Not happening though. Unfortunately.

A huge ammount of Train Simulator Classic routes have been converted to Train Sim World 5, so if you want to enjoy the old routes with enhanced graphics, TSW 5 is great.
