Stability?
Anyone else having crashing issues with this game?

I am trying the demo and I quite liked it but two crashes to desktop in 20 minutes is a bit of a worry and I don't really want to buy an unstable mess tbh

yes. The game is infamously unstable... to the point where it brought back the save/load crash & autosave corruption bugs that had basically been patched out of the previous game... with a vengeance. My advice... find the save folder and back it up manually.

It seems they don't really care anymore unfortunately, so if it doesn't work you are just plain out of luck

That is silly, it is the devs not Steam who are responsible for keeping the game updated and patching bugs. The only idea I had was to not buy the game since it is very buggy and the devs are not fixing it

Not sure if you understand what Steam does, they don't code the games and do not update them, that is the responsibility of the devs not Valve.

If you think Epic is a better platform (lol) then you go for it buddy. But just know you are blaming the wrong bad guy here

He'll be back when Epic takes his licenses away for no reason, or wants to play a game with his friends and realizes Epic is exclusionary.

I used to have the same issue - the problem for me was installing the game to a different drive other than C:

0 problems with stability, just finish the game
I just finished the game, no issues. Only 1 crash at some point, but 17 hours and no issues.

Best way to avoid crashing at least for me is to run Flawless widescreen do not change the resolution ingame without this or you will crash at least was my problem, with lossless scaling if the fps bugs out.
