About

Tree It is an easy to use real time 3D tree generator for the simple creation of your very own 3D tree models for your apps and games. All model exports are free to use with any engine or project.

Fbx models are exported in ascii format which some applications don't support, you can use autodesk fbx converter to convert FBX models into binary.

Install Requirements:

Directx 9 and the C++ 2008 Redistributable are a requirement for tree it to execute successfully. Although steam should install these two packages automatically for you, if Tree it fails to run you may need to install these manually.

Make sure to download the 32 bit *x86.exe.

system requirements

800 Mb disk space required

Minimum:
OS - Windows XP/Vista/7
Processor - 2.5 GHz or faster
Memory - 1024 MB RAM
GPU - Shader module 3.0 supported graphics

Recommended:
Processor - 3.0 GHz or faster
Memory - 2048 MB RAM
GPU - Nvidia gtx 980 or better

Key short cuts
Ctrl+O - Open Tree .
Ctrl+S - Save Tree.
Ctrl+N - New Tree.
Ctrl+E - Export Tree.
Ctrl+z - Undo.
Ctrl+x - Redo.
F1 - 3d View.
F2 - Front.
F3 - Side.
F4 - Top.
G - Show/hide grid.
Ctrl+A - Open atlas texture.
R - Open render to texture window.
L - Open lighting window.
J - Edit Joints.
Del - Delete Selection/Brake Joint.
1 - Position Selection/Vertex Colors Red.
2 - Rotation Selection/Vertex Colors Green.
3 - Scale Selection/Vertex Colors Blue.
Shift - Free Flight

Tree it is quite old now, I did ditch the project from 2014 to 2018/19 but I have been slowly adding some extra functionality to it.

Its awesome mate. I bought it first at launch and dont dare ever put it on sale hahahah XD its cheap enough full price.

Seems that the normal and roughness drop down items are swapped for the bark textures when using the <Current Texture> dropdowns.

Your program is seriously a lifesaver. It's like a ray of sunshine in a dark world where every other company wants to bleed you dry with their exorbitant monthly subscriptions. I really appreciate that you're making it possible for people like me to achieve our goals without having to empty our wallets.

I'm happy to have this great software here on Steam. So I could finally support this work. You can also add your additional models here as an addon, or maybe more textures for branches and barks. I don't need such things, but to support you, I would buy these things additionally.
