Steering seems like a combo of free movement and lane control where I at least never quite know when I'm going to miss an obstacle or get "hand of God" moved right into it because I perhaps didn't actually get out of the invisible lane marked well above where I'd like to focus my gaze. Just discovered this gem on xbox and had to have it on my deck! Unfortunately out of the gate it has issues; crashes to start button shortly after tut completion with no save, fog nonexistent. I changed to force compat back to Proton 8 and voila, works flawless on steamdeck! Hope this helps someone, its a charming and addicting game with a perfect price point, excellent SD game! Max Speed which you only achieve by not unloading your cargo. It's actually a very important element for scoring which I didn't realize for the first couple of hours.
