Is the VR version meant to be played with the keyboard? I started the game on Part 1 and can't move from the bed. I looked a bit around on the controls in the menu but couldn't find a way to map my joysticks to move around to play

You're supposed to use the VR controllers to move around.

I know this works for the quest 2 but other headsets might be having toruble

Regardless I do plan on updating this game sometime around late august-november

Hello, I use the Quest 2, I was confused at first since I just couldn't get out the bed, but after looking around the menu and alt+tab'ing back into I was able to move around. Not sure why that happened but then I had an issue with turning left and right, I think it might have had something to do with the controller detection since it fixed itself after I messed with the controller support button, Otherwise I fixed the issue
