Index Bindings, gun alignment, and Left handed bug
Very fun to see this in VR, but I did run into a couple issues:

For the Index, the default bindings did not have everything mapped as I was unable open the starting door. I did create custom bindings so I can at least play, but it would be a good idea to have official bindings.

Also likely an Index issue, the guns were not aligned correctly. Not sure what the intended position is, but they are like a foot above my hands.

And finally: Not sure if related to the Index at all, but with left-handed enabled, bullets did not go where the guns direction, but rather angled to the left.

Yeah, I only have a Quest 2 headset, so without a index headset, optimizing it for index is very hard.

For the height, I suppose you can try to calibrate your height settings in steamvr, or the gzdoom vr's settings.

And yes, the game was designed for right handed controllers, gzdoomvr doesn't really allow for both hands so I would imagine left handed controllers would feel weird.

Sorry about your issues, if they prove much to bear, feel free to refund it, or simply just play the desktop/non-vr version

I see this VR version as an added bonus as I bought the non-VR version back in December, so the issues aren't too big of a deal to me. My intention for this post was a sort of bug report in the hopes that these could be fixed.

I understand if these issues are hard to fix, I'm actually quite surprised gzdoom allows for VR at all!

How do I bind buttons on the Index for this game?

EDIT: Nevermind, X button is bound on the Index controllers for me now.
