Valentine’s is just around the corner, and we couldn’t resist adding a little extra love to Weyrdlets! The Lovey Dovey Update is small but super sweet, with some adorable new goodies to share with your pets.

💖Valentine’s Accessories, Decorations & Stickers

It’s time to shower your pets with love! We’ve added charming new Valentine’s-themed accessories, decorations, and stickers just in time for the season.

🐋Our first DLC! – A Little Delayed, But It’s Coming Soon!

We’re teaming up with Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC)[uk.whales.org] for a special charity DLC in honor of World Whale Day, with the revenue going directly to WDC to support marine life conservation!

It’s not quite ready yet, but it’ll be out a few days after today’s update! Thank you for your patience and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s live. Since it’s the season of love, why not share some with our ocean friends when the DLC arrives? 💙

✨ What’s Next for Weyrdlets? ✨

There’s more to look forward to! Following the DLC launch, Weyrdlets will introduce a a newly expanded multiplayer space to explore from a new perspective! You can hang out, fish, and relax by the shore with your Weyrdlets and friends!

It’s all part of our goal to make Weyrdlets a cozy, feel-good space to enjoy. And this is just one of many exciting new features coming to Weyrdlets this year so stay tuned!

Only 1 adventure a day? Why?

The adventures only take 2 hours, but there's 24 hours in a day, so at max 12 adventures make sense, so why such a harsh limitation? I would even settle for 3 a day.

HELP: Pet does not exist

Hi, I just started the game and have to feed my pet an apple, but there is not pet to feed :( Anyone know how to fix this?

Desktop Pet Shimmering

I’m experiencing an issue when using the desktop mode. The pet and the floating function bar appear to be moving up and down slightly (about 1mm), almost as if they are stuck or shaking. It looks like they are shimmering or glitching in place, which makes it looks annoying. (Im using mac) I wanted to bring this to your attention in case it's something that can be fixed. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help troubleshoot or if you need more details....

Updates & Fixes

These patch notes cover the issues and bug reports that have been fixed in this update. For feature-related news, check out this post here!

Updates

Enhanced the materials of the overall game for a more polished look.
Added new categories in Build Mode: Beds, Cabinets, Cupboards, and Drawers.
Reorganized items in Build Mode's Ornaments category and ETC category for easier navigation.
Pots are now grouped alongside plants under the Pots & Plants category in Build Mode.

Bug Fixes

Resolved issues regarding offline digging.
Fixed a rendering issue with the Modern Lamp item.
Addressed a problem where players couldn’t interact with the post-it notes in their friend's house.
Fixed an issue where the Hula Hoop Toy, Basic Float, and Bird Float would fall out of bounds in Desktop Mode.
Corrected an issue where the Stats Widget would take primary control when the To-Do Widget overlaps on top.
Fixed a bug where the "Freckles" item-limit prompt incorrectly appeared when sending a bottled message.
Resolved an issue where right-clicking wouldn’t work on the Soap.
Fixed a bug where pets could continue making discoveries after reaching the 60/60 limit, and the 'Discovery Completed' prompt would reappear even after all discoveries were completed.
Addressed a problem where the To-Do List Widget reopened upon game restart despite being set to closed.
Fixed an issue where the Luck stat circle failed to appear above the pets after consuming snacks or junk food.
Resolved an issue where decoration items could become stuck onto Weyrdlets.

Hey Weyrdlings!

Happy New Year! 🎉 We hope you had a chance to relax and recharge over the holidays. We’re so glad to start the year together with you and your pets. 💕

Our first update of 2025 is here! This update features a few quality of life improvements, so make sure to check them out!

1. Lunar New Year M.A.D

This update brings new MiniPets, Accessories, and Decorations (M.A.D) just in time for the Lunar New Year. 🏮

2. Whistle Controller 😮‍💨

You can now call your pets to you when they wander too far! With the new Whistle Controller, you can easily call them back to the center of your house. Here’s how it works:

Right-click anywhere and bring up the Radial Controller
Left-click the whistle icon
Then left-click anywhere again to call your pets. This will spawn them right back at the center.

3. IGC Ordering

You can now bring your Weyrdlets to life! This is how you can order a 3D printed collectible of your beloved Weyrdlets!

Open the customization menu.
Customize your pet and choose your favorite pose.
Ensure everything you want to print is within the frame.
Press "Order IGC"
Visit their website to complete your print!

4. Pet Customization Presets

We heard you! First was the presets for your islands, now for your pets! You can save your pet's accessory and sticker placements just like how you do it with your island. Presets can also be applied to pets of the same species!

P.S. These presets are only applicable to pets of the same species. Eg., if Preset 1 was on a Wagyu, then you can apply the preset to another Wagyu and not a Mochi or a Gyoza.

it doesn't tell you it's a gatcha game, but it is. and you have to check in everyday. and it wants micro-transactions EVERYWHERE. it's constantly waiting, with a pet who just doesn't do anything and isn't even the color I like. it looked more engaging in the trailers, but that defiantly isn't how the game plays for new people so i'm not putting more time into it.
