Overall I enjoyed it, the movement (the primary game mechanic) is enjoyable and gets moreso as you gather your powerups. The frustrations I had were mostly my own fault for being a big dummy and not paying attention. There's NO guidance/handholding so it's entirely on you to make note of your surroundings so that you know what areas are now accessible when you get a new ability. The ending was extremely abrupt and there isn't really much of a story if that matters to you.

Actual time to beat: 10-12 hours, but a LOT of that was me wandering in circles

Impressive core mechanics and decent level design,especially considering its scope, but it has lots of flaws as well. First of all, there is no enemy variety, some areas feel empty due to the lack of enemies, and there are only two boss fights. I wish there had been a boss fight before every major key.

You can’t see your exact location on the map only the current area which makes navigation difficult as you progress and when backtracking with new power-ups. This could easily be fixed by letting players place markers on the map and see their exact position.

I really dislike the wall-kick mechanic it’s inconsistent sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn’t. A simple double jump would have been better. You can also backflip to make it better but the game does such a poor job of explaining itself that it never directly tells you how, and the key combination is awkward. A dedicated backflip keybind would be a much cleaner solution.

There’s also a glitch where changing keybinds breaks after restarting the game, forcing you to redo them all over again. Not a huge issue, but very annoying.

Perhaps the most disappointing part is that once you acquire all the power-ups, the game just ends. There should have been a few late-game areas designed to combine all the abilities that would have been awesome.

If the devs plan a sequel, there’s plenty of room for improvement, and I hope they do the game is unique and has a lot of potential. Overall, it’s worth checking out if you enjoy platformers don't expect a good Metroidvania from this game.
