Just curious : Why is this game free ? Thanks.

I enjoy the game, but it could be better. The main menu is very bad, when I turn on my gamepad the mouse disappears, why? I need to be able to see my mouse pointer, it seems like this menu is very buggy, I'm pressing left to right, up and down and I don't know where I'm pointing, in some places in the menu you exit with X and in other places sometimes you you cant exit with any button, why? On paper this game is kewl. In practice it has several severe execution problems. No key rebinding that I have been able to find. With that in mind, who decided the menu button was the right trigger? With no easy exit. Having the game and upgrade menu selection not be glowing or highlighted but faintly pulsating is... not a good choice. Great for those of you with perfect eye sight perhaps. I'd like to ask, is it possible to bind key on keyboard and without using the mouse to play? This game is nice but the letdown is that I cannot change the key to my preference. So, developer, can you make the option for players to change key so the game experience would be better? Thanks~...
