i love game

Better than SotFS!!

This is Thumbs Horizontal Game. On one side it is still a Soulsborne game with all of the cool mechanics and world building that I´ve loved since I played DS1. On the other, strange mechanics like consumable finite healing items, losing hp when dying unless using humanity and some really, and I mean really frustrating and kinda stupid DLC´s this game is hard to recommend to just anyone.

Did I enjoy it? Hell yeah. Would I play it again? Without beating the DLC´s for sure, but if you have not enjoyed Darksouls 1 and 3 and wanted to keep playing against different bosses or with weird weapons, dont ever bother buying it. Also buy the remastered version, idk why I got this one lol.

At least Majula is the best HUB so far :) Also dont forget to level up Adaptability.

Everyone loves to take a ♥♥♥♥ on this game, but it's great. Yeah soul memory is goofy and poise should be taken out in a black trash bag, but that bridge in the Iron Keep is still the best place to PvP man. Plus- that sweet ass spaceman helmet you can get is such a prime cut.

Highly recommend may not be the best souls game but still a great game

This game gets a lot of flack, or rather it got a lot of flack because when it came out, it was comparable only to its predecessor. This game is better than the first in a lot of ways, (music and general legibility), and it is worse in a lot of ways, (most of the bosses are total nothing burgers). That said, in the year of our lord 2024, both Dark Souls and its sequel have been obliterated by the passage of time, and while still enjoyable in their own right, were someone to ask which is worse, my answer would be both. They are both worse than Dark Souls 3. Personally the only things I actively disliked about this game were some of the character animations, which felt a bit too jank to defend given the status of this game as the sequel to Dark Souls, and agility which is stupid and I won't pretend otherwise. That said, Dark Souls 1 is also a very dumb game, and I'd guess that me and most other souls fans have kind of forgotten how jank the first game was, and collectively misremembered how supposedly jank this game is. It's fine, fantastic game, but Dark Souls 3 exists so both prior games are mid at this point.

I like more this version than the SOFS, this is more balanced, it is fun to play there are less enemies and that makes it more enjoyable

Most over-hated and least played game From Software has ever produced, and yet I still think it's a masterpiece. If you liked Dark Souls 1, you'll like this game. If you liked Elden Ring, you'll like this game. If the only Fromsoft game you like is DS3, you probably hate this game. Unfortunately that's a good ~10 million people.
