Chaos storm vs firestorm
how are they different?

Chaos storm is more powerful, and spawns more pillars. but has half the cast amount.

It also costs 2 attunement slots and leaves small fiery areas on the ground that do minor damage for a little after the spell has finished, whereas Firestorm costs one slot.

No, it costs only one attunement slot. It's much better than Firestorm, also fire tempest is already better than Firestorm. Outcry is better than both, though.
