Welcome to Domeween, players! 🎃

The Halloween Beta is NOW OPEN until November 3rd, bringing a spooky season filled with exciting new updates for Domenation. This beta is available on our store page, so don’t miss your chance to join this time-limited event!


As the Halloween Beta unfolds, we’re embracing a slasher vibe to share five days of thrilling encounters, ghostly winnings, and spooktacular surprises. One of the main attractions of this event is the new map, Nexus: The Pumpkin Garden, the central place for all matches this week. It’s brimming with secrets and Easter Eggs for you to uncover, but we’ll show a little mercy by revealing some of them!

"Take a “bite” out of the urban legend that follows this trail of treats."
Follow a path of candy leading to a mysterious door, inspired by tales of urban legends that hint at candy and peril lurking in the dark. Where does the trail lead? Find out...if you dare.

"Something eerie awaits where red balloons float."
You’ll find some sewers on the map with a little paper boat and a red balloon, an eerie nod to the clown who gave us all nightmares. If you look closely, you might just spot him staring at you with his big red eyes.

"A misty mix keeps you guessing...enter at your own risk."
The fountains filled with green liquid nod to a famous scene where a potion is added to keep one from venturing into the real world, creating a thick fog. As a result, the Nexus is now shrouded in mist.

"A chilling tribute to films that won’t rest in peace."
We’re honoring horror icons with custom posters inspired by classic films. See if you can recognize homages to stories of isolated hotels, zombie apocalypses, or space horrors!

"What lies beneath...and will it surface?"
Look for the iconic well where the demon girl emerges. This reference is easy to spot, complete with a TV and some VHS tapes to enhance the chilling atmosphere.

"A dream you can’t shake, even in Nexus."
Keep an eye out for graffiti on doors, inspired by tales of dream-haunting figures who leave their ominous mark. Can you spot the claw marks?

We are happy to finally bring you a special chance to try Domenation in a limited closed beta for the brand-new game mode, Deathclock! This exciting opportunity is exclusively for our top players and will be packed with Halloween seasonal content. Mark your calendars for October 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st. This is one spooky adventure you don't want to miss!

Here are some of the new features and upgrades awaiting you:

• Battle the clock: With 5 minutes on the timer, protect your time, and outlast the competition, the main objective will be the player with more time in the clock and not the one who makes more kills.
  
• New way of winning: The only way to win, is by slowing the time phase entering the Dome and staying there for as long as possible, and if a player eliminates you it's all right, you'll respawn, but your clock will keep ticking so don't waste time and go to the Dome!
  
• Meet the very first "Fren": Although not all the mechanics of Frens are still added, you can be the first to witness one of the first companions who will support you in the battle.
  
• Enhanced Dome mechanics: Dynamic Dome movements add strategic challenges and the players planning to win every match.
  
• 8-player matches: Fast-paced combat for up to eight players, increasing competition, and lowering matchmaking time!
  
• Redesigned map: Welcome to NEXUS, a completely new map designed for this new game mode for intense countdown battles. Also immersing the player in a scary experience because of the detail, in every different corner there's something new to discover.
  
• Improved server performance: you can enjoy smoother gameplay and faster matchmaking thanks to the enhanced server upgrades recently added.

Thanks to all the valuable feedback received during the Alpha period, we’ve been working hard to develop a new and improved game mode. The upcoming Deathclock mode incorporates many changes aimed at creating a more dynamic and thrilling experience for players. Here’s what’s coming:

• Time-based elimination: players are eliminated when their time runs out, not when killed by other players, adding an intense and engaging twist to each match, and providing players more chances to overturn the tide of the battle.
  
• Fewer players per match to ensure shorter queue times and enhanced PvP action.
  
• Improved server performance for smoother gameplay.
  
• Enhanced Dome mechanics, adding dynamic features that require strategic survival tactics.
  
• Redesigned map for a more dynamic and fast-paced gameplay experience.

We are so excited for the Early Access release, and we are still working hard to keep improving your gaming experience. Here you can find our very first Day 1 Patch notes details:

• New Props on Hollow Pink: general decoration in interiors and exteriors to give this zone more versatility.
  
• General fixes on Hollow Pink and Docks to guarantee the best player immersion
  
• Performance optimized on Hollow Pink and Docks in order to improve the user experience through these zones.
  
• New containers and a general asset cleanup on the map to expand the visual assets and give the players the best experience.

• New character motion system: Melee attack (V), Sprint (Shift), Dash (C)
