Two D&D Classics Are Back!

Hello all D&D fans!
We’re excited to announce the re-release of two beloved classics - Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone (2004) and Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard (2005), now updated for smooth play on modern PCs in 2025.

This is a faithful version of the original games with technical updates so they run smoothly in 2025. Just to clarify, these are not remasters; gameplay, balance, art, and story are unchanged. We’ve focused on compatibility and quality-of-life fixes.

Both titles have their respective changelogs available. If you encounter problems, please let us know in the Discussions (and include your OS, GPU/driver, and steps to reproduce).

Thanks for helping us keep these classics alive and have fun playing Demon Stone and Dragonshard!

I hope that a lot of people buy this. It was fun when I was younger.

Worth the wait. I forgot is it multiplayer with a split screen? I hope it is or at least multiplayer in some aspect. This is so cool.

Any more games with similar battlefield action with one character?

I mean are there any more games where you have to do war management and make important war decisions, and then when it is time for battle you become one of the many characters on the field - while all the others are AI-controlled - and you can move and fight where ever you want?...

Crashes during saving.

I loved this game way back when, but I've had a couple of incidents now where I've tried to save the game and it locked up (and did not save the game). I really doubt there's any fix for that, but I think people should at least know this going in if they buy it. I paid the same price for it in 2023 as I did in 1995 after all....
