After a somewhat longer break, the time has finally come to present to you the changes and additions in the latest update, 0.9.0!


A blood system has been added, significantly enhancing the intensity and realism of combat. This gives the game a more brutal tone, providing players with even greater satisfaction during battles.

• Blood stains remain on the enemy when hit by melee weapons or arrows.
  
• Blood splatters appear on the ground when blood particles hit the surface.
  
• Blood goes through two fading stages, creating a drying and absorption effect into the ground or material.

To enrich the building and destruction systems, I’ve added several visual and sound effects, making these actions much more satisfying.

• Added an effect of a building gradually appearing during construction, accompanied by a sound effect.
  
• Added an effect of buildings collapsing into pieces upon destruction, with a corresponding sound effect.

I continually strive to improve the game visually, so this update includes some graphical tweaks and enhancements.

• Improved anti-aliasing (edges are now smoother).
  
• Adjusted color tones slightly, making the visuals warmer.
  
• Shadows are slightly darker.

From now on, starting the game, players will have access to a map showing the terrain they will traverse as they progress through the levels. The map is a new visual element and does not introduce additional gameplay mechanics.

Additionally, players can now choose from three difficulty levels. Depending on the difficulty level completed, a shield with a corresponding color will be displayed.

• Fixed incorrect positioning of arrows embedded in dead units.
  
• Fixed blood particles sometimes spawning in the wrong place upon impact.
  
• Fixed the player's arrow occasionally dealing double damage.
  
• Fixed the player’s right hand being slightly misaligned when holding a bowstring.
  
• Fixed workers not becoming idle after participating in combat.
  
• Fixed surplus resources being added to the player’s inventory when attempting to deposit resources exceeding the maximum limit.
  
• Fixed workers near the Town Hall sometimes getting stuck and continuing construction indefinitely after completing a building.

One feature planned for a minor future update is the save and load system during gameplay. I intended to include it in this update, but its implementation required more time than anticipated.

The system is partially implemented, and I hope to polish and fully integrate it into the game soon.


Currently, the game features 8 levels in Survival Mode, the only available mode so far. I plan to add 4 more missions, bringing the total to 12 levels in this mode.

Additionally, as previously mentioned, I plan to introduce a new game mode where players will have more freedom without time constraints.

In the next major update, I plan to add new combat units and additional levels for Survival Mode. As always, various other changes and additions will also be included.

It's time to introduce the changes and new features in update 0.8.0!


The UI style has been revamped, with brown now being the dominant color that better matches the game's background.

The game world has become even more beautiful and diverse.

Post-processing effects have been optimized for more subdued and better-matched colors.

Some visual effects, such as fog and depth of field, have been improved to make the game visuals even better.

Maps are now more diverse—they differ in the type and color of vegetation, additional elements like small moss-covered stones, the color and pattern of the ground, and even a subtle sky tint.

Some missions have been reworked to varying extents, and the maps are now more filled with content. A few additional environmental elements, such as small stones on paths, have also been added.


Mushrooms are a new environmental element available in every mission.

Mushrooms appear throughout the map, making exploring new areas potentially more rewarding for the player.

• Red – The player can collect and use them to create a health potion.
  
• Brown – The player can collect and use them to create a stamina potion.
  
• Yellow – The player can eat them to permanently increase movement speed.

To create a potion, the player needs to collect at least 5 mushrooms of the same type. The potion creation process takes place directly upon approaching the Town Hall or Warehouse and only takes a moment.


The ability to summon enemy waves has been added.

With this option, when the player is confident of victory and does not want to wait for the next wave's timer to end, they can summon it by holding down the "P" key.

By summoning a wave before the time runs out, the player will receive a resource reward depending on the size of the incoming wave and the remaining time before its arrival.

An icon has also been added to indicate the ability to summon a wave.

As for the next major update, I want to continue improving the quality of the gameplay to provide the best possible experience. I already have a few ideas I plan to focus on, but I don't want to reveal anything just yet.

Update 0.7.0 introduces many changes and new features. The game has been visually refreshed with new vegetation that can be seen in various compositions on each map. The color and texture of the standard grass have also been changed. Additionally, we can now admire the new look of the sky. The color palette has been adjusted — the game is less vivid, and the colors are more subdued, which makes it look even better.

Staying with the visual changes, the player model has been redesigned. The tools and weapons used by the player have been replaced with new ones that better fit the rest of the objects in the game.

Two new structures have been added to the game: a mine and a stone watchtower. These structures can be seen in the new eighth mission, as well as in previous missions where some of them have been slightly modified.

Another important change is the new system that informs the player about incoming waves of enemies. Thanks to this system, the player can better prepare for the attack by seeing the quantity and types of enemy units, as well as information about the number of groups that will make up the attack.

A new tutorial has been added to the game, which has been completely redesigned visually and mechanically. I hope that this new tutorial will help players better grasp the basic mechanics of the game.

The rest of the changes and new features are listed below, along with a more detailed description of the aforementioned changes and new features.

• Added 5 types of flowers.

• Rocks can now be covered with moss (different from what they were before).

The mine appears in 3 variants (stone mine, iron mine, and gold mine).

By taking control of the mine, the player can send 2 workers who will passively produce resources (stone, iron, and gold) depending on the type of mine captured.


Stone watchtowers appear in 3 variants (with a small flag, with a large flag, with both small and large flags).

By taking control of the stone watchtower, the player gains control over a group of units imprisoned in the tower, which from that moment on become part of their army. Importantly, these units do not consume food, do not count towards the total population, and wear yellow colors.


From now on, during each mission, the player sees information about incoming enemy waves in the upper left corner of the screen. The player can see how many units and of what type will make up the enemy groups, and the number of skulls indicates the number of unit groups in each wave.

This solution makes the gameplay much more enjoyable because the player no longer needs to guess how well prepared they need to be for enemy attacks.


The tutorial has been completely redesigned visually and mechanically.

Now, a high-quality short video will be available demonstrating the discussed game mechanics.

The tutorial has also been divided into more parts to make learning the game mechanics over a longer period easier.

• Fixed: The sound at the moment of ordering the worker to dig up the bush did not play if the player issued the command using the button ("Send idle worker").
  
• Fixed: The notification about the lack of arrows for archers was shown only once.

In the next major update, I plan to improve the overall look and functionality of the interface (GUI), and focus on enhancing existing mechanics and visual and sound effects. Of course, I don't rule out the possibility of introducing other new features.

As for more distant plans, I intend to try implementing network cooperation, allowing two players to complete missions together. This is currently just a concept, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to add it, but I'll definitely try. In addition, I plan to add a new game mode without time pressure, as mentioned in the last update.
