G27 wheel.
have no issue what so ever with iRacing.com, asseto corsa, or any other games of mine.
it shouldn't matter.
this is the ONLY game that has this issue, nothing else, nothing at all.
might as well just get a refund as its unplayable...
There seems to be some software conflict with the Logitech software. I saw someone else who had all Logitech hardware and had a similar issue. What they did was uninstall the Profiler which allowed them to play. Technically, that's not how SMS designed their implementation, but it does work (and with my old system, I never used the Profiler with my G25 with pCARS during development).
is the game really that broken?
uninstalling profiler will stop me playing other games.
I will reply to your rubbish, even though i wouldn't normally.
i have troubleshooted the issue.
I have come to the conclusion that with my current (and pretty standard) setup, the game will not work.
it isn't a bug like gettin invalidated laps on circuit X because of an issue.
this is a game breaking bug where someone using a very standard setup (logitech G27, keyboard and mouse) cannot have the game working at all.
and no troubleshooting? I helped Codemasters with GRID 2 issues, by trying 5 different graphics cards for them, to which they concluded that there was an issue with their game engine, and a specific series of graphics cards.
to get the controls working, it is a very basic thing, SMS shouldnt have gotten it wrong, and it isn't like i am using a custom button controller, or a custom interface for my pedals or something, it is simply a G27 wheel, a logitech keyboard and mouse.
you can take your tripe away jabroni, not intrested.
and, as i said, this is the ONLY game where i am having issues like this in regards to the controller.
not in Asset Corsa
not in iracing.com
not in race07
not in the F1 series
not in the GRID series
not in Need for speed series
not in any other game
and dont go saying the the XBONE doesn't have issues
is there a way to make this game work without having to break all my other games? or shall i get a refund, that is all i am asking.
VARGS, no, i dont have any other controller, just a logitech G27, logitech keyboard and mouse
Twelvefield, as i said just above, i have not experienced a single issue with any other games that i own in regards to controller issues.
Actually it won't.... No other sims use nor require the Logitech API. They just it as a standard USB device (which is how pCARS will use it when the Profiler is not installed). You can always re-install it if you need to, but again, you don't really need it.
it's up to you. I offered an option for you to test, so you can decide if you want to try it or get your refund that you mentioned.
done as you said, removed logitec profiler.
removed the keyboard and mouse
