Game crashing on start - OSX

Whenever I launch the game, it takes me to the start screen (play button, title, and credits). Upon pressing any button, the screen goes black for a moment, followed by the game closing.

Model: MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
Operating system: MacOS Monterey (Version 12.6.3)

Hi there! Thanks for reporting this, we've heard from one other person about this, there was previously a crash issue on Mac that we think we fixed, at least for Intel Macs, but it appears to still be an issue on M1/M2, we have it on our tasklist and we'll try to verify and fix!
