Inverted Mouse Aim Setting Doesn't Invert Mouse Aim
I enabled the Invert Mouse setting, and it did not change how mouse look behaved. How has this game gone so long without a working Invert Y-Axis setting? Because of this, your game is virtually unplayable for me in this state.

Dang, that's a good question. It probably just broke recently with one of the updates! There is a "testing" branch that you can access in the steam beta menu, should be fixed there in about 10 hours.
Just checked, the fix is working on the testing branch! Not sure we can legally release it on the default branch for now though.

The issue was that the settings menu set a string preference called "mouse_invert", while the game was looking for "invert_mouse" when checking if it should be inverted.
Perfect case of why one should avoid strings like this :)

As far as I'm aware, yes. But the game works perfectly fine in the Testing Branch, and I was able to beat it using that version.
