Terrible performance whilst holding mouse buttons

For some reason this games framerate drops to the singe digits when holding down a mouse button, either to aim or to fire. Am getting 60+ fps otherwise. I'm on playing on Linux. Has anyone encountered this before?

Does this still happen if you switch to the "testing" beta? I know this was an issue connected to the remapable key thing. But the last update on that branch might have fixed it.

Hello sorry for the delay, this got caught up in my list of notifications.

Unfortunately, selecting the testing beta on Linux results in the game becoming a 0mb folder with no executable.

Hey sorry to dredge this thread back up after two plus years. Tried to play this game for the first time in a whlle (on linux) and I'm still having the same issue, both on and off the beta testing branch. Wonder if anyone has any solutions to this :)
