About
The most realistic gun simulator ever returns in Receiver 2, which will launch early 2020 and you can add it to your Steam wishlist right now!

Receiver 2 will launch with eight different sidearms, including the Beretta 92FS, Colt Single-Action Army, and the iconic Desert Eagle. While the original game simulated the major moving parts of each gun, Receiver 2 simulates every single internal mechanism down to each spring and screw. Every enemy can be destroyed by a single well-placed shot, using ballistic simulation based on data from shooting incident reconstruction textbooks.

Practice the Receiver virtues of resilience, focus, and courage to resist the Threat.

Features
  • Sidearms modeled down to every spring and pin.
  • Enemies with physically-based damage models.
  • Ballistic modeling of ricochets, penetration, and bullet drop.
  • Train your mind to defend against the Mindkill.
  • Become literate in how guns actually operate.

Nice

But for the price is it going to be like 15€ and people who buyed Receiver will have a discount ?
Because it looks like Receiver is on Early Access and Receiver 2 is the finished product

But anyway looks good for a game i though was as dead as Sword With Sauce

Edit: paying around 8-10€ Seems fair to a direct upgrade idk about u

Receiver is actually dirt cheap and goes on sale all of the time? I don't think they need to give people who own it a discount.

I mean i don't know what the game price going to be but i hope it will be a fair price and not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ one like Overgrowth that cost 30€ for a game that would cost on my standard 15-25€
and i espect Receiver to be cheap because it's going to be a direct upgrade for an unfinished game

Hey you dont know what the game will look like. The puplisher send out a test versoin of the game for 5 bug .. for real, 5 bugs is nothing. they probably didn't know if they would ever make a full version of the game and you have no understand of the work that goes into a game like this, also as they are a little studio. Adding textures, programming game mechanics etc., it all costs time and resources. I love Receiver for the immersoin the game brings with it, even if its not graphical high end. But the new game looks far better in my opinion.

The question is, if its going to be something like a roguolike as the first on (because of the dying and trying over and over again, learning the mecharegarding the mechanics) or a more storydriven game. Roguelike would be quite unlimeted in playtime, which is why every roguelike cost around 20-25 bugs. (thought hereto are welcome)

All in all if you think its to expensiv or not worth the money, than just don't buy it. Nobody forces you to do so. Wait for a offer or something.
But just wait for the developers to figure out for themselfes, what their game will be woth.

Your right but so if every food cost 15€ and more you'll say the same thing ? to don't buy it then
and the first game is more like a die and retry i think it would be a roguelike if you unlock weapon and stuff for finding or killing a number of whatever

PS: A game may look like ass it don't bother me at a certain degree as long as it's good aesthetic

Well yes actually, I would say the exact same thing, if you want to call in a inflation, where every meal cost 15 instead of 5 $, than it doesn't change much

Well you are right in regards to the roguelike ... also you gain a bit knowlege about where to shot the drones and get a routin in reloading your gun ... I would say 50/50

Hey let's just see how much it will cost and we will find out if we have to wait for a discount or something :)

The first one doesn't seem finished, abandoned. Will the second one have more guns throughout its lifetime or is this all we get and we'll have to rely on buggy mods again when we eventually get bored of these?
