Upgrading Home Tile?

Am playing Demo version Nov 15th. I can't upgrade home tile even once, even though I have 25 hearts. How to upgrade?

I have played more and the home tile has automatically done its first upgrade.
I do now have several grassland hexes. When I attempt to upgrade these to pasture, the box tells me it is already built, but no hearts are showing on the map.

Every production building can only be built once (except if you have the building's mastery maxed out). Maybe you've built the pasture elsewhere already?
