Then you never will. It is deliberate, from Zen, to make people "want" to go online, even partially. In some way it is a kind of non DRM, DRM -- in that something as "important" as leaderboards (even for just your own offline scores) will assure that most people do connect, exactly so they can "register" (save) their own damn offline scores, for without connecting they will play (mostly) for naught.
The topic has been raised long before you decided to create your own thread. The fact that it (offline saving of just your own scores) is not "allowed" clearly demonstrates Zen's intent. It is, overall, a punishment for pirates that affects genuine customers more.
..and just a "reminder" to any "defenders".. P-FX 1, 2 and 3 all had working offline scores. It is not even demand for something new, rather, wanting what we had in all previous FX games. ..though again, it is by design, to punish.
What's your source? Pinball FX has local scores saved OFFLINE. I can confirm it works over there through Steam's offline mode.
I guarantee you, there are offline local scores in Pinball M. You can see them directly through the Attract Mode just before starting a game on ANY table. If there truly weren't any, you wouldn't see them, period. All the issue is, is improper UI toggles on the leaderboards in the proper sections.
