I had a bangback/Deathsave, although I immediately forgot the call-out. Modes can be pretty long and I haven't started a multiball in Classic yet, but I did get all the campaign skulls but one.

Yeah what is this table? The ramps on the right if you fail going up them dump the ball right down the middle. If you miss up the middle the same. I even had one instance where I left the pingpong mini-game and it just dropped the ball straight down the middle... what am I missing? Do you have to abuse tilt or something?

The Thing is easily the table I drain the most on. It feels like I am constantly starting over and hearing, "shoot the left sink hole"

I've gotten better since this post, but The Thing is still hard as nails. Good balance though, too many callouts but great vibe. M needed at least one tough, good table.

I think it's total crap. There's so many angles that go right down the middle. This board would get trashed if it was in real-life. Cool aesthetics but the design is godawful.

Almost 1 year later and yeah, I can't get into it. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love The Thing, but this table is on another level...

nudging matters, still get some STDM but not as many as I used to.

Played dozens of hours and still not managed to start the video mode as there's a bug it resets the counter between balls unlike the other shots. Also in the rec room the left flipper on the right side randomly freezes. Missions are hard but possible. Managed two in one game - not sure if Zen are Zen Masters (hehehe) but I'm something like 200 in the world and only 2nd on the built in leaderboard - 150 million for 1st place!!!

Love the film but for some reason not been a patch to fix some things in a while. Hopefully they'll get back to iron out some of the little kinks on the table.

The Thing table is just such a pain in *ass, i love the table but i can barely hit 40M score on classic when i have 500M+ on almost every Pinball FX tables i've played
Video mode ? I don't even know what you guys are talking about , never triggered it .
I just run for the extra balls asap and the multiballs for scoring

Funny thing i went back to FX 3 playing some Doom table i had trouble with and found it so easy compared to the Thing , beating my own score with zero efforts first try

Yup, Thing is punishing, I haven't gone back to it in a while. But practicing it does crank your skill. A veteran table for sure. Brutal.
