The final boss fight only works right at 60 FPS
Friendly reminder that Clink's movement speed in the final fight depends on frame rate, so if you have 120 FPS you will move at half speed and the boss will be impossible.
You can just barely scrape by Phase 1, though it requires much more precise timing than normal, but Phase 2 attacks will always hit you and you won't have enough time to reach the orb before it goes back into the armour.
The only way to beat the boss is to set your monitor's refresh rate to 60 Hz, since the game has vsync forced on.

Yeah, makes sense. I literally couldn't hit the orb at all and I was wondering what was up.

I built a new computer and everything so I doubt the issue is my computer. My monitor is kinda old so... Whatever. The boss fight is pretty obnoxious with this bug(i'm calling it a bug because it clearly makes the fight not work as intended).

It's very much a bug. The only thing that matters that I was able to discern is whether your monitor is 60 Hz or not. If it's more than 60 you gotta set it to 60 in your windows display settings or graphics drivers.

Yeah ths was pretty irritating and I wasted about an hour trying to beat him. I was thinking that something must be up since I am normaly a really good player. At best I got 3 hits on his back orb so I almost beat hs phase 2 but is was fking hard.Then I saw online that his running speed is connected to your monitor Hz, set it to 60Hz and beat him with full hp on first try. I like getting a challenge but this bg was anoying.
