This is a certified 80's blockbuster. I haven't played any Far Cry game except this one and don't know how much of it is borrowed from FC3, but this game is awesome. Controls are super smooth and responsive. You move and shoot very efficiently. You can chose between full on combat or stealth approach in missions. Nice blend of main story and side quests. Good pacing, the game is never boring. You can 100% the game with achievements without much problem. The game is very aesthetically pleasing, with futuristic, retro look.

You need to make a Ubisoft Connect account to play

This game is absolutely phenomenal, I've finished it on the PS3 and was dying to replay it on the PC.

So why am I giving it a thumbs down? Because Ubisoft just refuses to learn how to respect their costumers, you HAVE to install Uplay in order to launch this game, which is bad enough, but the game will also constantly attempt to connect to the live servers which arent available anymore, freezing for a full minute everytime you pause the game. This is unacceptable, I will boycott EVERY Ubisoft game until they either fix or drop Uplay, no more money from me. You have to respect your costumers, we're fed up with you
