“Vasilisa & Baba Yaga” won two awards at RED Game Awards 🏆

Fresh updates to our game

- Fixed bugs that caused bosses to freeze after applying salt.
- Fixed laundry washing, now the shirt is not so aggressive.
- Fixed the doll's dash.
- Fixed a bug where Vasilisa would hang or disappear in the golbz because of jumping.
- Blue chests can now be looked at again if they have already been opened.
- Fixed a bug that caused Vasilisa to freeze at the forest hut.
- Removed the moment left from testing, when pressing the stick the battle would start from the beginning.
- Added new sounds.

Fresh updates to our game

- The combat system has been updated. The doll now always deals damage if it hits an enemy.
- Updated the fight with the leshy, the boss no longer attacks with his hands without stopping, the roots do not grab the doll from afar.
- Added the ability for the doll to jump in the boat.
- Fixed several bugs in the basement that were causing the game to freeze.
- Fixed (well, we hope) a bug where the controls would disappear.
- Fixed (well, we hope) a problem with broken saves that prevented the game from launching.
- Made the game recognize the Playstation controller.

- Updated loading screen. Now the game will not crash when loading on the studio logo.
- Fixed a bug when Vasilisa sometimes lost control after a battle with a log in the swamp.
- Fixed a bug where Vasilisa could disappear when replaying any goalpost.
- Fixed a bug where Vasilisa's hands could get hung up in the “Brushing Baba Yaga's Hair” mini-game.

Hello everyone!

Recently, in order to promote a game on Steam, publishers have started to release demo versions in the form of a free prologue to the game with an independent page in the store. They say it works quite well, so we decided to try and do something similar for our project!

We didn't want to "cut off" a piece of the game and make it a separate prologue, so we decided to make a small but independent project using the mechanics and characters that are in the main game.

The idea for the prologue is that you are a magic doll who helps Vasilisa with her housework and at night makes sure that no evil beasts get into the house from the yard. Oh, and there is a lot of wickedness around the stepmother's house: in the bathhouse the bannik is rampaging, in the barn the kikimora is misbehaving, in the ovine the ovinnik is playing pranks. And there are various devils running around the yard. All of them will have to be taught a lesson, and properly!
