Game absolutely refuses to run
I'm not sure if it just my PC or not but I have attempted to run the game multiple times, even as administrator but it shows starting then the button says "play" again on steam. no windows pop up or anything. I've attempted to uninstall and redownload it 3 times so far. I really want to play it so if anybody has any idea then please let me know. Just to reiterate the game doesn't launch at all, I press play on steam, it loads for a second then the button says "play" again. I doubt it is my hardware since it is modern and I am running windows 10.

I have the exact same problem and have also tried reinstalling twice. Verified game file integrity and nothing. The game will not launch.

I managed to fix this! For anyone else having problems try disabling or updating different applications that may be interfering with it.
I recommend updating Rivatuner and Graphics card drivers.
For me - disabling Microsoft Power toys did the trick.

Power Toys screws up a lot of things, I've had that in the past too. Also the VC_Redistributables. Sometimes I've had to uninstall them all and I use an All in One Pack to re-install them. That affected my music software and some games.
